Susan is a dedicated results-driven executive search leader backed by over a decade of Healthcare and Life Sciences recruitment experience. She launched Susan Popp & Associates to partner with industry leaders to address the challenges they face in their quest to hire innovative talent. Susan leads every search the firm undertakes. Her ability to build strong relationships, sense of urgency, industry knowledge, keen assessment skills and pure passion for the field reveal a demonstrated track record of recruiting talent that creates significant value for her clients’ organizations.

Susan is a highly respected industry professional, valued by clients, colleagues and candidates alike for her approachable authenticity, perceptive nature and inherent ability to match top performers with visionary organizations. Prior to her years in Healthcare and Life Science search, Susan worked at executive levels in corporate management, where she built, developed and managed high performing teams that consistently ranked top in the company. She fully understands the demands and what it takes to move an organization forward.

Rina Fiorenzi Head of Talent Acquistion

As the Head of Talent Acquisition for Susan Popp & Associates, Rina is responsible for identifying and attracting candidates that precisely match our clients’ requirements. Leveraging a diverse background as a Human Resources Business Partner, Rina is uniquely positioned to attract, connect with, and qualify candidates for senior management positions. With a pharmaceutical and life sciences background spanning more than 25 years, Rina has a depth and breadth of insight into market dynamics and organizational development that simply can’t be matched.

A lifelong human- resources professional, Rina began her career in the chemical industry working for Dow Chemical Corporation for ten years. She then joined
DSM Nutritional Products, as a human resources business partner for the human nutrition, animal nutrition and personal care business units. After a very successful tenure there, Rina sought a transition to a client-facing firm where she could leverage her skills and experience to affect a broader impact across the industry.

Since joining Susan Popp & Associates, Rina has shown a remarkable ability to truly connect with candidates, enabling her to assess them in a very multidimensional way. She also calls on her years of experience with organizational integration and acquisitions to identify candidates best suited to usher our clients’ companies through periods of transition. In addition, Rina’s role often calls for her to mentor candidates guiding them through the complex process of accept a new leadership role, and it’s this aspect of her job that she most enjoys.

Christine Tanzella, Head of Research

Having over a decade of Healthcare and Life Sciences experience she brings a passion for executive search process. Christine’s expertise is targeted research specific to each client’s specific needs. She treats each new assignment as an investigative process with the goal of identifying candidates customized to each client’s unique recruitment profile. Her unrelenting nature and dedication ensure not stone in left unturned during the sourcing process.

Earlier in her career, Christine held several upper-management positions in the communications industry. In search of a new challenge, Christine later joined a boutique research firm, where she first began to the craft and hone her skills. During this time, she collaborated with Susan Popp and then joined Susan when she launched Susan Popp & Associates.
